Machine Learning Engineer

• Deployment of 10 machine-learning models for sales forecast internal platform using GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions), kubeflow pipelines, Docker and Python. The deployed models helped the demand planner's persons to take better decisions in demand planning.
• Tech lead and reference in Python, git and GitHub. I trained the entire team (7 persons in total) to improve and leverage their tech and hard skills concerning development and architecture best practices.
• Built using git and GitHub multiple private Python packages used by Data Scientists to speed up machine learning model development and deployment. By using the helper packages, the Data Scientist improved the required time to develop a model from 1 month to 1 week and the deployment time from 1 week to 1 day.
• Automated data quality processes using Python packages and BigQuery. This improved the quality of data that serves as an input to the forecast model, leading to better regression metrics results and a more accurate demand prediction.

Data Scientist

• Develop a machine learning model related to the planning and demand area (S&OP).
• Completely restructured the Python code of a pre-existing machine-learning model for demand forecasting, reducing the model's error metrics (MAPE and WAPE) by 10%. The task was done by applying best development practices on the legacy code base.

RPA Developer

• Develop process automation for external clients using RPA tools and Python, with a focus on standardizing processes, reducing errors caused by human interference, and increasing efficiency in repetitive tasks.

VSCode instructor

• Produced a Guided Project course named "VSCode for Developers: Set up a professional environment"
• The project will be launched in August 2024.
• Focused on teaching how to use advanced VSCode features for empowering development.

Git instructor

• Produced a guided project course named Git for developers: managing workflows and conflicts
  • Focused on teaching how to use advanced git feature for collaborative development.

Python and generative AI instructor

• Produced a guided project course named Generative AI for software development: code generation for Python
• Course focused on teaching how to use generative AI tools to learn Python code.
• Aimed at non technical persons without any previous coding experience.
